As winter approaches and the holidays are in full swing, we thought it best to share some of the events throughout the Great Northern Catskills that are sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

Glen Falls House

This historic inn is decked out in its holiday finest, with festive decorations and twinkling lights. With their winter market series, December 10-11th, you can expect local handmade crafts perfect for some of those Christmas gifts you still need to purchase. Grab a warm drink and cozy up by the fire, have a meal at the Trotwood Restaurant, or enjoy a winter walk around the trails. To top it off, they are also hosting one last Mini Holiday Wreath Workshop, FREE OF COST, on December 17th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join their in-house floral designer and gardener Leslie Bish to learn some tips and tricks and come away with your own mini holiday wreath!

The vibes of Scribner's December event calendar is giving us all the wintery feels. This luxurious resort offers a variety of holiday experiences, including a festive tree lighting ceremony, ice skating rink, holiday-themed cocktails at the on-site bar, and a special holiday-themed dinner menu at their acclaimed restaurant, Scribner's Prospect. Surround yourself with thousands of twinkle lights at their Après Ski and Winter Garden Bonfire every Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. and every day from December 17-31st they have different holiday workshops and activities to partake in!

Wylder Windham

Wylder Windham is another cozy and festive spot to stop and always has the seasonal events we're looking for. From gingerbread house and sugar cookie decorating, to a Polar Express Movie Night and Ugly Sweater party there are many family friendly events that you don't want to miss. They are also featuring a Christmas Feast and New Years Eve Soiree at their onsite restaurant, Babblers!
